Col. John Zazworsky addresses the crowd after officially receiving the first of three C-17 Globemaster IIIs to be acquired by the 12-nation Strategic Airlift Capability Program July 14 at Long Beach, Calif. The colonel commands the program's multinational, operational-level unit, the Heavy Airlift Wing, which includes personnel from NATO member nations Bulgaria, Estonia, Hungary, Lithuania, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Romania, Slovenia and the United States, as well as from Partnership for Peace nations Finland and Sweden.
