Sea vixens refuelling arp
Sea Vixens refuelling at the Farnborough Air Show, England, somewhere between 1961 and 1970. XJ571 was built as an FAW1 in 1960 and converted to an FAW2 in 1964. This aircraft still exists (non-flying) at the Solent Sky Museum, Southampton, Hampshire, England. XN694 was built in 1961 and scrapped in1970 (hence my statement above that the photo was taken between 1960 and 1970). Both aircraft are the FAW1 variant as the absence of elongated twin booms testifies.
