RindshautAls Rindshaut werden die behaarten Häute der verschiedenen Hausrind- und Wildrindrassen, als Kalbfelle die behaarten Häute der Jungtiere bezeichnet. Als Nebenprodukt der Fleischindustrie sind sie eine Handelsware des Rauchwarenhandels. Der Häutehandel unterscheidet außerdem zwischen Zahmhäuten und Wildhäuten. Als Zahmhäute werden diejenigen Häute der europäischen Hausrinder verstanden, die beim Schlachten zur Fleischnutzung anfallen. Als Wildhäute werden nicht nur die Häute von Wildrindrassen, sondern auch die von in Übersee genutzten Hausrindrassen bezeichnet, da diese Häute zu Beginn des globalen Rindshauthandels meist von ausgewildert lebenden Herden Südamerikas stammten. .. weiterlesen
