Trolleybus 25 of the Modena trolleybus system at Largo Garibaldi, decorated with bunting for an event on 13 May 2000, celebrating the reopening of the system after a four-year closure for rebuilding. The 1999-built Autodromo trolleybus (Busotto model) 25 was the first of 10 such vehicles added to the fleet, and this event also introduced those new trolleybuses to the public. One other trolleybus participated in the activities, No. 27, but they did not operate in service on this day.
Trolleybus service resumed two days later, on 15 May 2000, and the new Autodromo trolleybuses – the system's first low-floor trolleybuses – began carrying regular passengers on that day, on line 7, the only trolleybus line running at that time. In this photo, No. 25 is travelling east along the south side of Largo Garibaldi (using overhead wires that are only used when a trolleybus turns around at this location). Its LED destination-sign reads "Il filobus torna sulla linea 7" (the trolleybus returns to line 7).
