This image depicts the Royal Mail Ship and ocean liner operated by the Peninsular and Oriental Steam Navigation Company - Strathnaver. The vessel was launched in 1931 and was the first of a series of Strath class ocean liners built by the Vickers-Armstrong shipyard in Barrow-in-Furness, England.

Die Strathnaver (I) war ein nach einem schottischen Ort benanntes, 1931 in Dienst gestelltes Passagierschiff der britischen Reederei Peninsular and Oriental Steam Navigation Company (P&O), das für den Passagier- und Postverkehr von Großbritannien nach Australien gebaut wurde.
