Phelps County Courthouse in Holdrege, Nebraska; seen from the south. The building was designed in Beaux-Arts style by architect William F. Gernandt; its cornerstone was laid in 1910. It is listed in the National Register of Historic Places. The two-story portion at right is a relatively recent addition.
