NGC 4476 ist eine Elliptische Galaxie vom Hubble-Typ E/S0 im Sternbild Jungfrau auf der Ekliptik. Sie ist schätzungsweise 85 Millionen Lichtjahre von der Milchstraße entfernt und hat einen Durchmesser von etwa 40.000 Lichtjahren. Zusammen mit NGC 4478 bildet sie ein gravitativ gebundenes Galaxienpaar. Gemeinsam mit acht weiteren Galaxien ist sie Teil der NGC 4461-Gruppe und unter der Katalognummer VCC 1250 wird sie als Mitglied des Virgo-Galaxienhaufens aufgeführt. .. weiterlesen
