Trovo inoltre che prima del 1553 si demoliva la cappella della Madonna per fareil coro, che nel 1546 lingegnere Dionigi da Varese dirigeva grandi lavori nel chiostroe nei locaH finitimi, che nel 1596-97 si eseguivan nuovi locali nel convento, compresoil Refettorio, che nel lòoge 16io si costruivan molte cappelle nella chiesa, che nel1622 si innalzava un nuovo chiostro e i lavori eran collaudati dal Richino, che nel1Ó72 si fabbricava una nuova cappella, non è detta quale, nella chiesa, che nel 1698■si rifaceva gran parte dei tetti delle cappelle, che nel 1707, 1711, 1724 si lavorava ^
