Beschreibung:
Map of the Adelaide-Darwin rail corridor at various times between 1854 and 2004. It shows the years and places at which lines opened on the broad-gauge lines near Adelaide (brown); the narrow-gauge Central Australia Railway and North Australia Railway (green), which left a 900 km gap in the middle; the ill-fated Stirling North–Marree standard gauge line; and the eventual standard-gauge lines that together completed the corridor: Tarcoola–Alice Springs (1980) and Alice Springs–Darwin (2004).
