A wrecked machine shop where telescopes and torpedoes were made, at the Krupp-Grusonwerk AG in Magdeburg, Germany. Magdeburg was subjected to a heavy area attack by aircraft of Bomber Command on the night of 16/17 January 1945, when 44 per cent of the city's built-up area was reported destroyed.
