BRUSSELS - 25 March 2004Chris Patten , EU Commissioner of External Relations, meets Mr. Kastriot Islami, albanian minister. Kastriot Islami, Albanian Minister for Foreign Affairs, met Christopher Patten, Member of the EC in charge of External Relations. The talks mainly covered the ways to stamp out the resurgence of ethnic violence in Kosovo. Kastriot Islami said he was aware of the need for political and social reform in Albania to reach European integration, on one hand, and to garantee peace, security abd stability in the region, on the other.
