View southward, towards Ferryhill, Darlington and the South; ex- North Eastern ECML. Gresley A3 Pacific No. 60083 'Sir Hugo' makes a fine sight on the Down 'Northumbrain', which left King's Cross at 12.30 and on weekdays conveyed through coaches for the Tyne Commission Quay, connecting with maritime services to Scandinavia.
