Expedition Island, a National Historic Landmark in Green River, Wyoming, United States, is a small island in the Green River. Now a city park, Expedition Island is recognized as the launching point for John Wesley Powell's 1869 and 1871 expeditions to explore the Colorado River and Grand Canyon.
