Propaganda sign celebrating the 25th anniversary of the Era de Trujillo in 1955, to be hanged on the walls of private homes (translation: In this household, Trujillo is a national symbol). The crude metal and exposed hanging wire indicates that this was primarily meant to be hung in the thousands of bare or dirt floor bohíos where countless Dominican villagers and peasants lived.
