Last week, we had the pleasure of announcing the executive committee members of the first ever Fiji-Australia Alumni Association at an event at the Australian High Commissioner to Fiji, John Feakes’ residence. The association will connect Australia Awards alumni in Fiji with each other to celebrate achievements, explore professional development opportunities and maintain ongoing linkages with Australia. At the event, the alumni networked with representatives from Austrade's Tertiary Education Roadshow, which provided an opportunity for Fijians to meet with Australian higher education representatives and discuss study opportunities in Australia. The event was further enlivened by having rugby legend, David Campese, join us.
