Dairsie Castle A fortified tower house standing on a knoll above the river Eden, Dairsie Castle was restored from a virtual ruin and turned into a family home between 1993 and 1996. It is now available to let as luxury holiday accommodation. The building dates from around 1160. This historic site once housed the earlier Scottish Parliament in 1335 and was visited by James VI in 1583.
