The "meane", i.e top part of chapter VIII in Christopher Tye's Actes of the Apostles of 1553. The latter half of the piece was adapted and used as the tune of the famous Christmas carol tune "Winchester Old", otherwise known as "While Shepherds Watched their Flocks by Night". Part combined from two pages (the book is laid out in the then-standard 4 parts per page)
