Athenian ostrakon (piece of pottery inscribed with the name of a politician proposed for exile by popular vote, the so-called "ostracism"). This specimen proposes the name of Xanthippos, who was submitted to vote in 484 BC. On display in the Ancient Agora Museum in Athens, housed in the Stoa of Attalus.
