Die Stadt Wardha befindet sich in Südwest-Indien im Bundesstaat Maharashtra.
Wardha liegt 65 km südwestlich von Nagpur. Die Stadt ist Sitz der Distriktverwaltung des gleichnamigen Distrikts. Beim Zensus 2011 betrug die Einwohnerzahl 106.444.[2] Die nationale Fernstraße NH 204 verläuft durch die Stadt.

Vishwa Shanti Stupa was a dream of Fujii guruji as called by M.K. Gandhi. It is beside Gitai Mandir. It is a large stupa of white color. Statues of Buddha are mounted on stupa in four directions. It also has a small Japanese Buddhist temple with a large park.
