Plakoglobin (Synonyme: Junction Plakoglobin, γ-Catenin) ist ein Strukturprotein von Zellkontakten wie Desmosomen und adherens junctions. Es ist homolog zu Beta-Catenin. Plakoglobin bindet auf der cytosolischen Seite an Zellkontakte und verbindet Cadherine mit dem Zytoskelett.[1]
