Passos ist eine Gemeinde im brasilianischen Bundesstaat Minas Gerais. Sie ist etwa 343 km von Belo Horizonte entfernt und liegt auf 745 Metern über dem Meeresspiegel. Passos bedeckt eine Fläche von etwa 1339 km². Eine Volkszählung aus dem Jahr 2010 ergab eine Einwohnerzahl von 106.290 Menschen. Im Jahr 2018 lebten nach offizieller Schätzung etwa 114.000 Menschen in Passos.[1]

- In the centre of a white rectangle in the format 20 units by 14 units is a red equilateral triangle with a side length of 8 units.
- clockwise from left to right the sides of the triangle carry the phrases "LIBERTAS", "QUAE SERA" and "TAMEN". The letters are distanced from the triangle by 1/3 of a unit and are 2/3 of a unit in height.
