Insgesamt nahmen zehn Zweier-Teams aus zehn Nationen teil. Die Sowjetrussen Pawel Charin und Grazian Botew gewannen das Rennen vor den Franzosen Georges Dransart und Marcel Renaud sowie den Ungarn Imre Farkas und József Hunics.
