Fort Toulouse reconstruction near Wetumpka, Alabama. This was the easternmost fort (in what is now the United States) established by colonial French Louisiana. It was first built in 1717.

Main building of the Wetumpka Prison in Elmore County, Alabama. A new prison, built north of this site, was completed in December 1942 and is known in 2011 as the Julia Tutwiler Prison for Women.
