Die GRC Bank Guangzhou International Women´s Open 2012 waren ein Damen-Tennisturnier der Kategorie International im Rahmen der WTA Tour 2012. Das Hartplatzturnier in Guangzhou fand vom 17. bis zum 22. September statt, parallel zu den KDB Korea Open 2012 in Seoul, ebenfalls ein Turnier der Kategorie International.
Titelverteidigerinnen waren Chanelle Scheepers im Einzel und die Paarung Hsieh Su-wei / Zheng Saisai im Doppel.
Siegerin im Einzel wurde die ungesetzte Südkoreanerin Hsieh Su-wei, die sich im Finale gegen die ebenfalls ungesetzte Laura Robson in drei Sätzen durchsetzen konnte. Im Doppel besiegten Tamarine Tanasugarn und Shuai Zhang im Endspiel die Paarung Jarmila Gajdošová / Monica Niculescu.
Qualifikation
Ausgespielt wurden vier Plätze für das Hauptfeld im Einzel.
