Csonka war ein Hersteller von Automobilen aus Österreich-Ungarn.

Unternehmensgeschichte

Das Unternehmen von János Csonka begann 1896 in Budapest mit der Produktion von Automobilen. 1914 wurde die Produktion nach etwa 150 hergestellten Exemplaren eingestellt.

Fahrzeuge

Das erste Fahrzeug 1896 hatte einen Einzylinder-Viertaktmotor und Glührohrzündung. Später wurde ein Fahrzeug für die Post mit modifizierten Motoren von De Dion-Bouton entwickelt, die Produktion übernahm Ganz. 1909 gab es ein Einzylindermodell mit 4 PS Leistung und zweisitziger Torpedokarosserie.

Csonka motorised three-wheeler from 1900. The engine is four-stroke, 260-ccm single-cylinder type and its maximum output is 1.7 kW (2.3 hp). The top speed of the vehicle is 25 km/h.

A Csonka model that was produced between 1908–1912. Made for Magyar Posta (Hungarian Post). The four-stroke, 1100 ccm four-cylinder engine block was casted in one piece. The maximum output is 5.9 kW (8 hp) and the top speed is 50 km/h.
