Cimolai S.p.A. ist ein italienisches Stahlbauunternehmen aus Pordenone in Friaul-Julisch Venetien. Es stellt Stahlstrukturen für Gebäude (z. B. Fußballstadien), Stahlbrücken, Hangars, Offshore-Strukturen, Großrohre und Stahlträger her.[3]
Bekannte Strukturen von Cimolai sind die Pont sur le Grand Canal du Havre, die Zweite Severnbrücke in Bristol, das Olympiastadion Athen, die Talbrücke Altwipfergrund (mit Walter Bau), die Schleusentore des 3. Schleusenpaars des Panamakanals[4] und die neue Tschernobyl-Schutzhülle[5].
Geschichte
Cimolai wurde 1949 von Armando Cimolai gegründet. Die ersten Kunden waren Enel und Zanussi.[6]
2023 meldete die Firma Bankrott an. Die Vermögenswerte sollen an die Nuova Cimolai übertragen werden.[7]
